For those who stay home for Thanksgiving and think of turkey as something you have to eat but don't really like - I mean you don't have it at other times, here's something to ry, if you haven't already: deep fried turkey. That is turkey rubbed and injected with a rich spicey marinade (you can make your own) and dipped in a large pot of boiling peanut oil. It takes 3 minutes per pound and does require special pots, and propane tank etc (kits are available at Sam's Club) but the results are amazing. Imagine white meat that is really moist and flavorful instead of tasting like cardboard. Imagine a 20 lb turkey cooked to perfection in 1 hour.
